Cool As Ice

Cold days call for... ICE CREAM!!! My sister came home this week, and on Thursday we went down to Ice Que and got funnel cakes. Mmmm mmm good! Ice cream sandwiches! It was the perfect combo of hot and cold on a cold day. It was so nice to take a break from school work for once. This week has been stressful. We all need a break here and there. Have a good weekend folks!

Earth Day

Happy Earth Day!! Thank you Earth for all the things you have done for us. From letting the sun rise to letting the rain fall. You helped us throughout all the tough times. Without you, I wouldn't have beautiful mornings to look forward to when I head to school. I wouldn't be able to see so many beautiful skies in front of me in the early morning. These beautiful skies start my day off with a great start. Along with all the greens and nature around me, from dandelions to birds chirping in the trees. Today is the day for us to give thanks back to you. You gave our feet a place to stand upon. Thank you for the many paths you gave us to walk on, taking us to places we never been before. Thank you for giving us all a place to call home.

Sunday Adventures

Sisterly bonding Sunday! My sister and I headed down to Old Pasadena today. We tried out Sage, a vegan place. My first time! We got the BTLA pizza and let me tell you, I felt so healthy! I thought I would be so tired of pizza since two weeks ago I had pizza twice in a row, but nope! It was delicious! We even tried the ice cream there, at KindKreme. We tried the Clean Green ice cream. It was made of seaweed, kale, and some other greens. Something different for the first time. Good experience! Loved it! After lunch, we headed to a little place called Pie Hole. We got a pie slice to share, the Earl Grey Tea pie. It was good!!! The tea gave it a little spark of flavor mixed with all the other ingredients. Mmm mmm good! We bought two other slices home to try. It was an awesome sister day today! Can't wait to do it again. Have a great week everyone!

Adventures with Techies

Getting out early from school at 1:31 PM and what do you do? Hang out with your friends of course! We wanted to go to Tpumps for the longest time ever, but our schedules would always conflict with each other. Until that day. We headed to Old Pasadena. First stop, Pieology. My first time! Pieology is where you make your very own pizza by choosing what you want on it. (: Mmm mmm good. Next stop, Tpumps! It was also my first time! I got a peach rose mango green tea. It was good!
I could not have asked for a better way to spend my day any other way than with my techie friends on a Wednesday, 4/8. This was the day before I went off to my trip to Santa Clara for the FBLA State Leadership Conference. It felt like a little send off for me. It was really nice. Over the year, the five of us got closer. I wouldn't have had the same experience in tech theatre without them. Thank you Vivian, Matthew, Jordan, and Amber!!! You guys are the best! Love you guys! This is a very late post, sorry everyone! It's been a busy couple of weeks. Nevertheless, that Wednesday is one day I will definitely never forget.

LA Festival of Books

Wake up on a Saturday morning to... BOOKS! Ahhh! Headed out of my home with my family for our little trip down to USC. Today is the LA Festival of Books. Since last year, I decided to go every year with my family to find more books to read. Not only that, but USC is my dream school. It's the school I like to go to because I would like to live with my grandma who lives near there so I can keep her company as well. Not only did I find books that I liked this time, but I also saw Keegan Allen and Octavia Spencer! Allen plays Toby in the hit series on ABC Family, Pretty Little Liars. Spencer is very well known from her role as Minny Jackson in the film The Help. It's been a lovely start of the weekend! Hope everyone is have a good weekend as well! Stay hydrated as it gets warmer!!

Liebster Award 2015

From this website

Thank you Heather Townsend for nominating me for the Liebster Awards! So sorry for such a late post and reply to you!! This is my second time getting nominated. It's an honor. Thank you!!!

So here goes...
First the rules are:
1.) Thank the blogger who nominated you 2.) Answer the 11 questions that have been sent to you 3.) Nominate 11 other bloggers that have less than 200 followers 4.) Create 11 questions for your nominees to answer

Next up... my answers!!

1. What do you like about blogging?
I like how I can write whatever I feel like. I can fully express myself and not be afraid to show who I am. I hope one day, someone out there who reads my blog will be inspired by me and do something she/he really wants to do.
2. Three favorite bloggers.
theconbonz, A Beautiful Mess, The Sunday Chapter. Check them out of you can!
3. Do you have any pets?
I have a pet fish. His name is Goldie. (:
4. Heels or flats?
Flats. ALL THE WAY.
5. One beauty product you couldn't live without.
Hmmm... probably my EOS.
6. Who was your teen celebrity crush? (The one plastered over your bedroom walls!)
Teen celebrity crush... mmm probably Logan Henderson from Big Time Rush. But I never had posters soo.. haahah
7. What's your guilty pleasure?
My guilty pleasure would be eating midnight snacks... haha. I love eating! Who doesn't? But I must watch my eating habits, don't want to turn fat. Haha.
8. If you could be invisible for one day, what would you do?!

I would walk to places I never been to before and really want to go to. Of course, I mean around the area, not like fly across the border. haha.
9.  Tell me a weird fact about yourself.
I am a lefty, but... I write with my right hand. (:
10. Top blogging tip?

Make posts ready beforehand. Sometimes it's nice to have a few posts already scheduled to be posted during the time when you are really busy so your readers are up-to-date still. It's hard. I know. Haha. I'm still learning to do that too. Sometimes time doesn't permit, but this is one tip I keep in mind for myself. (:
11. What song always gets you dancing?!

Mmmm... this one is a hard one. But for now, I would say Shake It Off, by Taylor Swift.

My questions are:
1.) What inspired you to blog?
2.) Who would be your favorite blogger?
3.) What camera(s) do you use?
4.) Do you have a favorite post on your blog? If so, why?
5.) Would you have ever seen yourself as a blogger when you were younger?
6.) Pizza or burger?
7.) If you could choose one super power for a day, what would it be?
8.) Aside from blogging, any other hobbies you enjoy doing?
9.) What kind of music do you like?
10.) What skill would you like to learn in the future?
11.) What are three things you would love to do but never got the time to do them yet?

Marvel Universe Live

Family time! Back in March, my family and I went to Marvel Universe Live! It was really fun. I'm a big fan of Marvel and well Disney overall. (: It made me want to watch The Avengers even more! I can't wait until it comes out. After the show, we went to Downtown Disney and went to Earl of Sandwich. It was so good!! I got the Hawaiian BBQ Chicken. Mmm mmm good! After that, we went shopping!! It was such a fun day. It was definitely a great spring break for me. I'll be making my Liebster Awards post in a bit, since I've been pretty busy lately. Happy Easter Day! Have a good week folks!

Onto April

Rabbit rabbit rabbit! Happy April everyone! It feels like time has been passing by way too fast. Everything seems to go by so fast. All these little adventures and outing and then poof back in school. Poof! More obstacles to face just when you think you can have a little bit, just a little, of a break from all that craziness. I don't know why, but I've been thinking when there's happiness, there's sadness soon after. Don't get me wrong, I don't mean super duper sad stuff, just little things. It can be more projects to deal with, more people you have to get things checked off by, etc. It seems like no matter how happy you are, you have to know it doesn't last forever. Just temporary. Maybe for now. Maybe happiness as we grow older will last longer than it does currently. It's a new month. Maybe miracles may start showing up along the way. Hopefully! New month, new adventures.
