Five Weeks Down

It has been a little over a month since I started college. Crazy right? How time flies by so fast yet so slow at the same time. This month had been a crazy one. I went out on school nights, tried new foods in Fullerton, went to a volleyball game for 15 minutes before leaving for a meeting, having friends come visit me and spending 6 hours together, had bad days where I needed sweets to feel better, and went to a concert and karaoke at CSUF. Lots of adventures in just the first five weeks of college.
The best part of these few weeks is this past week I had a life changing moment. I attended a workshop called Prepare to Declare. It basically gives you an overview of the concentrations under  business administration that we can concentrate in as our major. I realized I am going to do entertainment and tourism management. I want to do something I like. I always loved the entertainment industry, but my realistic view overpowered my fantasy view. Sometimes we just got to trust our gut, our passion, and our heart to lead us to where we really belong. I think I found it. Finally. Now, I want to have a double concentration, either with marketing or supply chain management or minor in cinema, television, and radio. The main thing is that I figured out I want to do entertainment and tourism management. The feeling when you figure out what you want is the best feeling ever. I was over the moon happy when I just knew what I wanted to do after the workshop. I'm so grateful for all these workshops my business school at CSUF gives me. Love being a Titan.
