Eyes open. Feet ready. It's time to stroll through an art gallery. Specifically, the LA Art Show. My sister, her friend Vin, and I went on an outing to the art show together. It's been a year since I seen and met Vin! Finally got the time to hang out with my sister's friend and felt so honored he wanted to hang out with me. There were so many artworks to see but so little time to see them all! It took us two hours to go through two columns of the artworks. Crazy right? We were questioning if we can even see all the art pieces until it closes. It opened at 11 AM and closed at 7 PM. We knew we wouldn't stay until 7 PM because it would be late. We didn't want to walk to the car too late, considering we do not know the area too well and nowadays, everywhere is dangerous too.
We stayed until about 1:40 PM at the art show and then headed to get lunch to finish the second half. We went to Flavors of Thai for lunch, and my sister and I got the Pad Thai Woon Sen item. It was really good. Then again, I love all sorts of noodles. Then off to the LA Convention Center again. We ended up staying until almost 5:30 PM to head back to the car and get something to eat. We weren't too hungry so we got tea at Little Fluffy Head Cafe. Cute name right? My sister and I shared the lychee tea choice, half-sweetened. It was a really nice touch with the famous cheese foam on top. It wasn't too sweet and the cheese foam wasn't too cheesy or salty. Just right.
Definitely a well spent day with my sister and her friend on a Sunday during winter break. Art speaks in all languages and it allows us all to enjoy something so special. It allows the artists to express all their emotions and feelings on a canvas to share with the rest of the world. All the artworks were amazing. I would love to go again next year.
Below are some art pieces I took pictures of. Enjoy!
All the art pieces are created by the artists and my photos are only to share the amazing artworks with others.
