Friends Bonding

Started February off on a bad note. I was sick and still sick but better now. Just coughing every once in a while and a little sniffles. What made it BEAR-able at the beginning was that I got to hang out with my friends. One of my friends in college was in town, so four but it turned out to be three later hanged out. I got to try Honeyboba for the first time. Passion Fruit Tea. It was really nice to catch up since winter break.
The following day I got to go to Six Flags for my competition in FBLA Sectionals. I had to get through 4 hours of workshops (lectures) because they won't let us go on rides until everyone was done testing. Everything got pushed back a bit. Well actually not a bit, an hour to be exact. That was no fun. But I got to go on rides and reunite with my friend from another school. That's when I started to have fun. It was exciting too to get to rides different rides from the previous year. I got third place for my competition category. Middle schoolers beat me...It was okay.. my friend and I were salty cause we were both in the same category and the judges marked us down for one that shouldn't be. We brought our resume and cover letter and folder. But they marked us down. They changed our scores too... They crossed it off and lowered our scores. But I was very grateful to place at Sectionals! I didn't have much faith to be honest. I had a bloody nose that day of my competition. IT threw me off. At last, it turned out well.
Now, the end the month, more musical show dates to go and my mommy's birthday! Woot woot! (:

Food Outings With Mumsy

With rehearsals and three day weekends, I didn't get to hang out with my mumsy much and go on our food outings like we wanted. We wanted to go to every restaurant we haven't tried yet in the Atlantic Time Square and then move on to Alhambra. Nevertheless, back in January, we were able to go to Nice Time Cafe. It was good! Very nice food and good time. (Get it? Haha) After the musical shows, I'll be able to enjoy the three months left of school. Time flies by huh? And I'll be hearing back from other colleges too starting in March. 4 down 3 more to go.

Rainy Tech Rehearsals

Rain rain come again. California needs more rain in this drought. Just make sure it isn't too much. That be perfect. This past week, it rained on Wednesday. I got stuck in the rain, waiting for my dad to pick me up, since we got a miscommunication. He parked in the other parking lot... Anyways, Last week we started rehearsals for the technical part of the musical. I was so excited to see it! We got lots to work on still, but I would say 70% is pretty much done. We open in less than a week now... lots to do, but I feel we will be okay and make it through. I'm excited on how it turns out. From being a stage manager for a play to being a light board operator for a musical has it's perks. I have less pressure and stress on myself. I record the light cues, such as the percentage of the brightness of the Source4 or Parnel lights into a light cue, based on what my teacher, who is the technical director of the musical. Then once all of it is recorded, for the show, I just have to go to the light cue and go. Awesome! Then I can enjoy the show several times. (: Can't wait!

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day everyone! I hope everyone was able to be with their other half today and shared some love with all the single ones out there as well as with family and friends. Below is a GIF I made on "Made with Code," which is a program that is developed by Google to spread variety in the subject computer science. On this day, it's perfect to share some love and be connected with one another with this amazing feeling, whether romantically or mutually.
What did you guys do today? For me, I became a third wheel... for my parents. I joined them on a trip to the Henan Art Troupe at San Gabriel Mission Playhouse. I went along on accident... Last Saturday they asked me if I wanted to go, and I totally forgot it was Valentine's Day. Nevertheless, the show was amazing, and I ended up becoming a photographer for the day, just for a while. Then we out to eat, of course, third wheeling still. All in all, a great day. I can also say I enjoyed my day with some romantic movies.
I like to share some love with you all for being amazing readers of my blog and sticking by me for a little more than 1.5 years. I came a long way since my first post on this blog. Many things has changed, but my love to write and to share with you guys haven't. Thank you and I love you guys. Hope everyone's day was wonderful!
