A Mini Bottle Is All You Need

Sometimes the little things are all you need. Nothing big and fancy. The little things make a big difference. Last Friday I went to volunteer, and I played slide, a hand clapping game, with a little boy. He didn't know how to play. So I taught him. I felt like a little kid again, when all we did was play games and laugh at the silliest things. It felt so nice for just one moment to be a child again. The littlest things may be just as amazing and incredible as the bigger things in life. Just like a mini bottle. It may be a little thing, but it's the meaning behind it that counts. Little things can mean so much more than meets the eye. Live life simple.

The Sun Always Shines Bright

Through every cloud, the sun tries desperately to shine and give light to the world. Just like today! It was rainy, but my day was lit up. I started off the day on a good note. I was walking to my class early in the morning, and this girl was going the same direction as me. She opened the door for me... THREE TIMES! I thought that was so sweet! She has a beautiful heart, with a lovely smile to greet people. (: It's the little things that help you throughout a rainy day. I went to volunteer today, and I saw these little fruit nuggets I used to eat when I was little in the vending machines. There was this little girl who was playing tea time with.. wait for it... TEDDY BEARS! Ahhh!! It was adorable. Each chair, on all sides of the table, had a bear sitting on it. One even had two! Ohh, the joy of being a child. To top it off, in the spirit of SuperBowl season, the little kids were being blindfolded and were to place a cut out paper of a football and stick it between the field goal to make a touchdown. It was so cute! The little ones also watched a movie and played musical chairs. It was yet another three hours well spent. So grateful to have volunteering in my life. Have a good weekend everyone!

Down and Up

Some days you start off just okay, on the down side, and then by the end of the day, it's right side up! It's been a hard day for me today. To top it off, I got injured today on my foot while in tech theater and had a headache towards the second half of my day at school until now, BUT I'm okay! Just a minor cut. It hurts, but I can still move. A headache goes away after you rest. I took a little nap, and my head feels a lot better. I had a group meeting afterschool for calculus, and it was yet another wonderful meeting with my group. We got work done, while having fun! Oh, I know what you're thinking. How can you have fun doing math? Well you can! With friends who make you laugh until your side hurts. That's the friends that help you get through the day. Turn that frown, upside down. After every rainy day (or maybe after three days after it rains), there will be a rainbow to bright up the world.

Rainy Day

It's raining on a Monday! It's been cold lately. Finally some rain for the beautiful nature around us and to help us as well. More rain means more greens. More greens, more oxygen! Without rain, we still get to breath, BUT with rain, there are more things in nature that will grow, which benefits both!! It's a win-win situation! Woot woot!! Stay warm everyone! Have a good week!

Blossoming

Everyone has to be a flower someday. Each and every person needs to blossom and spread their petals. Growth is a key in life that people have to face. You have to step back and see that the world will wait for no one. You have to take the initiative to look forward and keep up. Face reality, as well as keeping those dreams close to heart. Blossom into the person you truly are meant to become. You must find the real you through every step of the way. Each step you take, is part of the journey you are on.  Let yourself find the perfect you by being yourself. Trust your instincts. Only you can be you.
