Off on another adventure with the mom and sister on a Friday morning to a ramen stop, Kitakata Ramen Ban Nai. We all ordered Aburi Miso Ramen with a topping of an egg. It was really good. Very different type of noodles from your typical ramen. The ramen were curly and wavy, yet still good. I really liked the seaweed part of it as well. Then off to the plaza called The Lab for some donuts from Good Town Doughnuts (handcrafted brioche doughnuts). We got a chocolate crunch, vegan lemon poppy seed, mango coconut, and vegan soybean black sesame seed. The plaza is so nice! The atmosphere is amazing and very hipster. Next stop, I scream for... ice cream! Hug Life is a vegan ice cream shop and currently is having its soft opening. We got one to share, as the usual, with three flavors: organic berries, earl great, and taro. It was really good. I love the flavors. We went to Target as well for some supplies and went to Elbows, the first time for my mom and me. One of these days, I will try the mac n cheese served fresh. From Costa Mesa to Garden Grove and Cerritos, you can say we ventured anywhere for food. There is no better way to anyone's heart than food.
