Food-rific Long Weekend

The long weekend all started with the slice of pie my father bought for my sister on Friday. We had the donut and coffee pie, the "donoffee pie." It was really good. It tasted like a donut too! The coffee was not over-powering.
On Saturday, we went to where I like to call my second home, Fullerton. The official place we went to was Richard Nixon Library and museum, in Yorba Linda. The museum had changed up a few things since the last time me and my parents went, so we decided to go as a family to check it out. Always learning, even on break. Then off to SlapFish. We ordered chowder fries, New England clam chowder, and two clobster grilled cheese. The fries were amazing and the clam chowder was very light. The clobster grilled cheese was the best ever. We each got half, and definitely, half was enough after eating the fries. The clobster grilled cheese is actually really filling and very delicious.
Today we tried a Chinese vegan restaurant, Vegi Wokery. The food was great. The dishes were amazing. The food was not greasy and light. We got dessert later at Leelin Bakery and picked out the tropical mango and the ube uber cakes to try. They were not too creamy and both had strong flavors, very good.
Definitely a well spend long weekend.
