Cool It Off

        I scream for ice cream! Such a hot day today, and it's not even summer yet! What better way to cool off by taking a trip down to an ice cream shop! I haven't heard about this store until my sister told me. She wanted to try it out when she got back home from college today, so that's exactly what we did. It was a great trip! It was nice to try something new and different. There were 12 flavors to choose from. My favorite ones were the Thai Tea and Strawberry Balsamic. Get some ice cream to cool off! Have a good rest of the week folks! 

            

The Beauty of Spring

        Shades on. Lenses ready. Cap off. Camera on. Photoshoot time! Click. Click. Click. The breathtaking moment of the sun rise. It's pure lovely. That warm fuzzy feeling when you see it is the best feeling ever in the very morning. The sun is real bright, so be sure to wear sunglasses! Protect your eyes! Some things are worth waiting for. Takes patience, but at the end, it's worth it. Been up early for the sun rise since Sunday. Got no regrets! Worth every minute. Four days into spring. Woot woot! Been a rough start of the week, but it's getting better! Maybe it's the magic touch of spring. (: The spring fever right? Hope everyone has a lovely spring!

Sunday Craze

                                                   Sunday morning. Woke up at 6:45 just to see the sun rise. Waiting in the cold, wearing a jacket. Hearing the birds chirping in the early morning. Saw the street lights, one by one turn off as the time past. Pacing around to keep warm while waiting. Then the time ticked to 7:22 and I headed home. It was still very cloudy. I couldn't see a single ray of sunshine. Sigh. Tomorrow! I will try again to see the sun rise tomorrow! Have a cold at the moment, but the cold won't bother me and keep me from doing things! Tried out something different today. For dinner, my family and I went out to Ramen Yukinoya. I had the Miso Ramen. It was really good! Kept me really warm. Mmm mmm good. Stay warm!! Drink lemon honey water! Take your vitamin C! Stay healthy! Have a good week everyone!

Happy Pi Day

       What's today? PI DAY!! It's not just ANY Pi Day, but the ultimate Pi Day!! Today is 3/14/15, and pi, the symbol, equals 3.14159265.... AHHHH!! Wicked cool huh? I am one crazy math person! haha. Remember from my previous post I was telling you guys about my song that I dedicated to the club? That club is.... Math Club! I really do have a love for math no matter what. It can be difficult, but it's fun! Oh! And great news! Guess what? I got the position I wanted! I'm really happy and grateful. Thank you to all who supported me! This month of March has been a very busy one, but the weather is lovely. It's getting hotter, but it's finally feeling like spring. Flowers are blooming and plants are growing taller by the minute. Have a great week everyone!! Enjoy the lovely sunshine and the flowers!

Risk It All

           I took one of my biggest risks in life. I would have never thought I would do something like that in a million years. But I did it. And I thought of it just the night before. I sang in front of people. I may not be the greatest, probably sound like a walrus, BUT I got out of my shell even more that day. That day was Tuesday, 3/10. I was running for a position, and I gave it my best shot. I took a huge risk by doing a speech plus a little song that I dedicated to the club to show my appreciation and commitment to the club. I felt good about it, but I cannot say that today I wasn't a little down. I was scared that what I did would not get me through to getting that position I really want. Even though I cried a little today (yes, I cried haha), I can say that I do not regret what I did. I gave it all my effort. It's the experience, the guts, the courage that shaped me to be able to get up on that stage to do it. Sometimes things don't turn out the way we like it, but it will in some way, in the future, It will be worth it. I know that I went for it, with a fight. I didn't back down and shy away from being in front of a crowd. This girl is still trying to go beyond her stage fright. I must say I think each and every day I am getting braver and tougher. So whatever happens, happens. I still worry (who wouldn't?), but I am proud to say that I do what I do full-heartedly. Put 100% in or don't at all. This girl goes all in.

Spring Is Coming

           Heading to school and came across this little one in the front yard. Dandelion!!! With little dewdrops on the grass in the morning. So peaceful and lovely. I haven't seen one in such a long time. Spring is coming guys! Can't wait! When I was little, I heard that you make a wish on a dandelion, then you blow it. That wish will come true. When we were younger, we believed the darnest little things huh? But it feels good to be so innocent and gullible. You look back and smile at those times. I now just blow on these guys for fun. Sometimes you just need faith to make things come true. Believe. Have a great week folks!

       Rabbit rabbit rabbit! (: Happy March everyone! Hope you guys are starting the off on a good note! Yesterday, I was able to be a part of the FBLA competition and went to Six Flags!! It was such a fun day. I was able to see some friends who I haven't seen in a long time and catch up with a little here and there. I reunited with my bestie from elementary, Connie too!! That was one of the best parts of the whole day. The weather was amazing too! The sky was soo pretty! It was so clear and the clouds were soo beautiful!!! It only started raining at the end of the day. It's been so long since I've been to Six Flags. The last time I was there was when I was probably 9 years old. I only remembered one ride... Goliath. So after testing was done, my friend and I went on Goliath! Boy was it different. It wasn't as scary as it was years ago. It was so much fun, we went on it twice!! Then we went on a few other ones too. It was a nice experience overall. I'm so grateful to be a part FBLA. Ending February and starting March on a good note!! Woot woot!! Have a great month everyone!!
